Frequently Asked Questions

You can add notes by typing directly in the app, using voice input, or uploading a document. Cogni will automatically organize your content by subject and chapter.
Yes. Cogni is fully functional offline. Your notes, flashcards, and quizzes are stored locally on your device and available without an internet connection.
Cogni tracks which topics you find difficult and schedules review sessions at scientifically optimized intervals — so you spend more time on what matters and less on what you already know.
Yes. You can delete your account and all associated data from the app settings. You may also contact us at support@cogniapp.com to request data deletion.
Tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen. Enter your registered email address and we will send you a password reset link.

Troubleshooting

App not loading

Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, restart your device or reinstall the app.

Notes not saving

Ensure you have sufficient storage on your device. Try tapping save manually and restarting the app.

Voice input not working

Check that Cogni has microphone permission enabled in your iPhone Settings under Privacy.

Flashcards not generating

Make sure your notes have sufficient content. Very short or incomplete notes may not generate flashcards automatically.
